Hey everybody! Thanks for making it this far. For all those who still can't understand why I'm giving my work away rather than sell it, at this time, I have only a simple response. Tune in later for a more complicated one. I want people to start engaging art for what it is, not prestige or monetary value, but something genuine. This is my attempt to revive that lost love.
However, there is a catch. I have a finite amount of materials and finished work. Thus I will ask for the cost of the materials only. As for the paintings, I want people to write me about how they connect with the piece they like. No fancy art lingo, no degree in art history necessary. My art means the world to me. Some are like children. No joke. I want the best for those lil' bastards. Its been years, they're already in college, sometimes you just got to let go. In all honesty, I don't know how many people will respond, but obviously if 20 write me, sadly only one can receive the prize. Well, that's the short of it.
